I have been an Inbox Zero guy since the early 2000s. Now I can’t keep up with my email; it comes in too fast, and I actually have work to do that demands my attention. Consequently, my Inbox is almost never empty.
Now, mostly on Fridays, I just select all my Inbox emails (
Ctrl-A) and move them to my Archive folder (
Ctrl-Shift-1 thanks to an Outlook Quick Step I created), whether I have processed them or not. The emails aren’t deleted, they are just out of my Inbox, and that’s good enough.
